BITTER WATER RESCUE RANCH is located just outside Etzikom, Alberta, Canada along highway 885. BWRR, as it known to the local people, is geared to the restoring and replacement of abused and abandoned llamas and alpacas. Using herbal and modern medication Melissa restores the animals health, and with gentle handling is able to gain the trust of the animal. Each animal that arrives is evaluated as to what it most needs and a program is design for that animal. Some times the animal can and is placed in a new home, other times the animal becames a permant resident of the ranch. No animal is beyond help that time is not the answer. There is no time limit on how long an animal is allowed to stay. BWRR also takes in retired animals that need a special care that their owner do not either have the time or space to provide. IT WILL ALSO BE USE TO TREAT TLC LLAMAS IN NEED. THIS STALL IN ABLE BWRR TO ISOLATE THE ANIMAL IN NEED UNTIL IT IS BETTER.
